Wet cleaning procedure any different for Apple Whiskey than water? ;)
My friend brought me her iphone 5 which her lovely Husband decided to bathe in Apple whiskey.
As far as I have been told, this was just a major spill on the counter where the phone happened to be laying and not a drop in the glass, but the indicator in the sim slot is pink and when I removed the SIM card it was still wet so it must have been a major spill.
She didn't have any rice, so she decided to put it in a bag of couscous.... lol and I found a bunch of that jammed in the lightening connector. After removing the couscous, I attempted to charge it (before being told it had been drinking!) and got nothin.
This is when I removed the SIM card and realized it was wet.
Anyway, long story short, she said it worked for a day or so after getting wet and then it just quit.
She has gotten a temporary replacement but I would like to try and fix this one for her, and at least recover her contacts and pictures.
Is the cleaning procedure any different for Whiskey than it is for water? And keep in mind, it has been a couple weeks since this happened and the phone has just been sitting. I have not been able to open it up yet. :(
Is this a good question?

Was this Laird's AppleJack? or Calvados? Was it straight up or mixed? If mixed, any sugar nor acid like lime juice?

Crown Royal, straight up, no ice.
It was spilled right out of the bottle.
