post battery replacement steps that should be followed?

Are there any post battery replacement steps that should be followed, like charging the battery for couple of hours or charging and draining it and repeat 2-3 times. Thanks!

Options

I'd run it a full cycle: charge to 100% then allow to fully discharge. This will allow you to make sure that your battery is not defective and that the installation went properly.
