Right side heaphone jack not working

The desire 816's jack doesn't seem super solid in the first place. However, my 816 fell on a hard floor and now when I plug in any headphones to the jack, the right side earphone doesn't work. This seems like an internal issue in the phone. Wonder if you all have any solution! Thanks!

Connect the headphones to another device and check if they work properly. They probably won't because if the headphones Jack would have been not working then neither of them would have been working.

It looks like your head phone jack is failing. The head phone jack consists of spring loaded contacts and due to the impact it may have been bent out of place. It may be possible to bend the contact spring back to place however, if this does not work the only solution would be to replace the headphone jack completely.

First of all you need to go to the htc service center and ask them to change the earphone jack.
