Are the fans for the GPU and CPU the same?
Are the fans for the GPU and CPU the same on ASUS g73jh laptop?
Just need to replace them but need to know if the GPU one is the same as CPU one.

I have replaced the faulty fan, and I removed them both for cleaning and both the GPU and CPU fas are exactly the same, just one is mounted face down , that why they look different in the guide, but they are 100% interchangeable and the same.

They should be the same, most laptops with multiple fans use the same fan over the cpu and the gpu.

from the picture ,actually they look like they are the same, I will just order the fan once I have opened up the computer and verified that they both are the same.I will be sure to post my finding here.
