Hi there,

Was reading this thread and i seem to have a burned R47 on my Sapphire RX480 8gb.

Its been running a custom bios for about 9months thus being overclocked.

The card was microstuttering for some time already and since last dustout the card wouldn't boot and it showed me a black spot and a cracked R47 near the 6pin power connector.

Any ideas on what to check here before i just replace the Inductor?

Of cause you can. before replace it check the reason to burn it, check upper side MOSFET whether short circuit or not. This kind of result i have observed in over clocked GPUs. :-) keep in mind to check R22 also before powering up the graphic card. Cheers!

I am certain that by now you either have it fixed or got a new card. Anyhow, this answer is just for completion sake. For your Video card the reference designator R47 is a 56 Ohm 5% resistor in a 0402 package.
