Hello, i bought an iPhone 5 on eBay and recognized that touch is not functional. Even after I've replaced the display touch doesn't work. Could it be that the logic board is defect or are there any other possibilities?

Have you tried restarting the phone by holding sleep/wake button and home button until you see apple logo.
If it doesn't help try itunes restore.
If all these won't work then it is a problem with connector on logic board
