How do I fix the keys on my MacBook

a few of my keys on my macbook have stopped working, i have taken the keys off and put them back on and they still do not work. what can i do to solve this problem?

Try plugging in an external keyboard to isolate the problem. If all works with the external then I'd reset the keyboard cable to the logic board first. Click on the step-by-step guided link under the picture of the MacBook to select which Book you have and look at the guide for replacing the keyboard.

Doesn't sound too good, if you boot from cd/external hard disk and test the keys then, you can rule out a strange software related issue.

If it still doesn't work, then it looks like you will be replacing the top case assembly!
