What iPhone parts are likely usable after water damage?

Assuming it didn't make it in rice in time, what parts are more likely salvageable than others?

Firstly: Rice does absolutely nothing but bad things. Time to stop this myth of a bad advise.

There is no overall answear for that but: It depends !

It depends on the degree of Watercontact it had and for how long.

But there is no telling without testing each and every part.

General rule: if you see white discoloration or even corosion, than the part is bad or soon will fail working.

If you are a non technican. Just take the whole device and sell it on ebay/cragslist or repair shops but have to be completly honest about the history of the phone.
