Eyelet looking piece location

I have an eyelet looking silver piece that came from the top left corner of the phone, where headphones jack is and the volume control. It fell out when I removed the smart board and now I can't figure out where it goes. It looks as if it might hold ribbon down possibly?? Or be a part of the volume control buttons maybe?

Seems like you are describing the part which holds down the camera. If this the part, it is not an absolutely necessary part.
