Water damaged, need to know what to do from here?

Early 2011 MacBook Pro 17" water damage. Spent months drying. Now dry. Turns on, with sound. But cannot log in, throws an error when j enter my passcode and then it resets.

Battery is fried. Must be connected to power. And I don't think the fans are working. I have replaced this conputer but didn't realise there would be any chance of fixing it myself.

I am happy to do all the replacement parts myself. But I'm wondering what I need to do from here. Replace all internals? Or just the logic board and fans? + battery.

Options

The keyboards short out and have to be replaced. Since your machine does power on, hook up an external USB keyboard and mouse and after it has powered up it the external keyboard to try to enter your password. Let us know your results and we can go from there.
