I am looking for the front replacement glass for the screen for a A1278 MacBook, this is not a MacPro but all I am finding is the glass for the pro version.
Is this a good question?

Just put the pro glass on and call it a day. You are never ever ever ever ever going to find good quality glass for a laptop that was produced for four months then discontinued, seven years ago. Consider the pro writing on the glass an "upgrade"
Avoid any glass that has white paper sheet on the back instead of protective plastic, as it is junk. That isn't to say that glass with the clear protective plastic isn't junk sometimes, but white paper is a GUARANTEE of junk!

Ok thanks, I was going to get the pro glass from a local shop, they had the regular and pro for two different prices and the pro was cheaper. I asked if I could use the pro since it was cheaper and they told me it was not compatible.
You had the sad experience of dealing with idiots. Don't buy anything from them; if they are dumb enough to think that, then they are too dumb to find glass that doesn't have those bubble defects. They are probably buying the cheapest trash off of eBay and doubling the price to you.
