Before you try to replace the entire board, this sounds like a Display Data Cable issue to me. Follow this guide to step 11. Check the connection between the board and the screen as well as the connector itself for any bent pins.

I've tested this by taking a known working screen and connecting it to a suspect faulty Logic board. Same result. Bad board in good screen = flickering / screen off once the device gets warm. One of the chips (EMMC / GPU / CPU) gets really hot really quick and as soon as the temperature gets too high, the screen flickers and cuts out.

I am not an expert by any means... but this is due to the fact that overtime the components do not sit as "flush" as they did when they phone was first made. Some are able to temporarily fix the problem by inserting paper or other objects in the phone to create more pressure between the cpu/gpu and w/e it needs to make contact with in order to project the image to the screen. Basically in a nut shell this is the problem.

1.) Phone is made to have tight pressure from its back panel to the screen.

2.) We do not hold phones like this, we hold them on the sides in the palm of our hands. This pressure does not help components stay tightly flush as mentioned above.

3.) Make a phone more powerful than anything on the market when it debuted... oh and let have a removable backing and battery for the most powerful screen/processor on the market at the time.

4.) Lucky Goldstar is lacking that German guy to tell them their design is crap.

Some have tried disconnecting the rear camera connector and the two bottom ones and reconnecting them and have had success. Others have heated those connectors where they connect to the motherboard and have had success as well. Its something with those 3 connectors coming lose somesay from dropping phone but who knows . I am going to try these methods tomorrow as i dont have that small a screwdriver. I am hoping it works. Even though lost everything off phone.
