I dropped my ipad, and the screen wont display.

i dropped my ipad and the screen hasnt turned on since. i know its still on,because it makes the screenshot sound when i hold the home and power button. i tried lightly hitting the back like most people that have this problem say to do and it did nothing. is there another way to fix it without paying $250 dollars to fix it?

It seems you need to replace the screen only if you didn't cracked the touch glass, which will cost about $80 under the condition of DIY repair iPad 2 LCD. Try to find the screen replacement guide and have a look at first.
