motorcycle oil change question

I have a 1992 BMW K75S motorcycle. What is the torque setting I should use on the oil drain plug? Also, should I just hand tighten the new oil filter or is there a recommended torque setting for that as well?

Scroll down and you will see the oil drain plug torque listed there as 283 inch-lbs. Don't know if it is correct or not buy hey its on the internet it must be right! Oil filter cover is listed at ~71 inch-lbs. Again don't know if this is correct. Google is my friend BTW.
