Why cant I take an outdoor picture?

I replaced my broken rear-facing camera. After installation, phone updated firmware. I can take indoor pictures, but not outdoor pictures. Is this an update issue?

When you say you can't take outdoor pictures, do you mean they don't look very good? Or that the phone just doesn't allow you to capture those images?

the phone will not take the picture when I'm outside, works properly indoors.
