I changed my heating element out on my whirlpool dryer

I changed my heating element out on Estate Model EED4400WQ0 Dryer and it's still not blowing hot air when I first cut it n it worked for a few minutes and then quit

Get in there with a multimeter and check continuity on all the switches.
