Cursor jumps around uncontrollable over whole screen. What to do?

A few droplets of liquid spilled on part of my touchpad and now the cursor is uncontrollable, how do I gain control again?

Can you give us the last four digits of your serial number so we can aim you to the correct guide to follow and the needed part.

Cannot get the serial number because I can't get the cursor to open anything. Just when I get close it jumps somewhere else.

You should be able to find it on the case bottom. The other option is using a USB connected mouse to control things.

I managed to get the cursor working enough to get the serial number which is CO2K56C1FFTO.

Whip it into submission :-)

Sadly, it sounds like some of the liquid got under the pad. You'll likely need to replace the trackpad.
