iMac G5 Randomly Shuts Down

iMac G5 17" Model A1058 / 1.6Ghz randomly just shuts down. Happens during software update. Running OSX10.5. RAM 1 512 & 1 256 stick. Power supply perhaps? Replace RAM / power supply?

Also, when it does power up the display goes through grey, blue...not normal.

Remove the back panel and examine the capacitors on the logic board for leakage and/or swelling: iMac G5 17" Model A1058 Midplane Assembly Replacement
