Replaced screen and now have no touch screen

Hi hope any one can give me an idea what is wrong,

I have replaced the screen with a new one after it being cracked, Ive done this previously and everything worked, but this time it hasn't, It powers up and can see the date and home screen etc but when pressing the screen it does not respond can not type passcode in etc. the home button works fine any help would be great.

Thanks

It is possible that the digitizer is faulty in the new screen or perhaps the connecotr was't properly reconnected to the logic board or it is possible that the connector on the logic board was damaged during the repair.

Disassemble the phone and inspect the connector and cable. Reseat the cable. If that doesn't work try the original screen to see if that still works.
