Will it work?

i have a Mac Mini 2011 2.3 8 GB of RAM with a 500 GB 5400 RPM hard drive. The last digits of my serial number is djdo

I'm just about to order the IFIXIT dual drive kit, I have a SanDisk 120 SSD will it work?

There are a few different generations of the SanDisk SSD 120. Do you know which one you have?

SanDisk Extreme SSD compatibility "SanDisk Extreme SSD SATA III 6Gb/s drives are backward compatible with SATA II (3Gb/s) interfaces and SATA I (1.5Gb/s) interfaces. However, speeds will be limited to the lower SATA II or SATA I interface capabilities."

You should be fine. Do make sure your firmware is upto date. Follow this Apple T/N: EFI and SMC firmware updates for Intel-based Macs
