Would iPhone 4 display fit in iPhone 3GS?

Is it posible to replace a broken iPhone 3GS screen with an iPhone 4 screen? I'm not sure if it's a stupid question, but I havn't been able to find the answer on the web. I gladly appreciate any kind of help.

The answer is no. iPhones typically do not have parts that are usable in different models/ generations.
