Best way to charge battery externally?
I'm trying to figure out the best way to charge my MacBook's battery externally. I have purchased an extra battery for it and wanted to charge one while I use the other. I have looked into the solution of buying a charger for my macbook from fast mac (http://store.fastmac.com/product_info.ph...) that connects right to the battery. Or I was thinking of getting a cheap macbook off of eBay to charge my extra battery.
I like the idea of using a macbook because the battery would be secure and in its usual environment. I'm expecting that the macbook would be a higher price then the charger, which is now $59.95. I see a lot of broken MacBooks that are in this price range but I am looking for one that looks like it will still be able to charge a battery. I would love to find a macbook with a ripped off display and working internals but I don't think they exist.
Is this a good question?

Sean, not quite sure what your plan is. Does your MB charge? Or is that the reason why you want to go through the expense of a second battery and a separate charger. the other thing you want to do is to properly identify your computer. What are the last four digits of your computers serial number? A1185 is for the battery.....

The last four digits of my serial number are L9GU. Yes my MB's original battery does charge, I have the extra battery so if my original dies I have a back up. When my original battery dies I can swap out and charge up the original.
