I INSTALLED SSD CRUCIAL HDD Now SCREEN STAYS BLACK

Hi I installed new SSD crucial 1TB HDD in my 2267 3.06Ghz iMac and after install when powering on the boot up sound occurs, but no screen image or backlight coming on at all. formatted and restored a time machine backup to the new drive and used it to boot up my MacBook Pro. screen power and lcd temp and lcd connector cables are attached well.

Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!!

Was the machine working before you installed the hard drive? Have you tried putting the old hard drive back in? With the frame off, look at the LED diagnostic light to the right of the RAM slots and tell us what you find. What are the last four figures of the serial number on the MacBook Pro you used? The same on the iMac (from the bottom of the stand). What OS X did you install? Was the Time Machine backup from the iMac or the MBP?
