What have you checked? Could be the switch, the thermal fuse or the motor.

Hello,

It sounds like your nutribullet isn't turning on at all. This could be caused by a number of problems.

First, check that you are plugged into a working power outlet. Try plugging in another device and seeing if that device works with that outlet. Once you make sure the outlet is working, the next biggest culprit is a stuck activator button. They can get stuck if sticky juice gets on them and then hardens. You can check the white activator buttons on your device by looking at them and pressing on them with a flathead screwdriver. Finally, if the activators are working, then the motor might need to be replaced. If your nutribullet is still on warranty, then contact magic bullet about a replacement.

Whoa, hang on there future writer of America. " Finally, if the activators are working, then the motor might need to be replaced. " I think you should suggest a few more things before saying buy a new motor. How about the wiring? Check the wire nut connections on the AC cable to make sure they are still properly installed and that the wire is still connected. How about the switches? There are two switches in series, if one has failed, your Nutribullet will not start. What about the checking the thermal fuse? If it has failed (a $2 USD part) your Nutribullet again will not start. I suggest you tear it apart, use a multimeter to check the switches and the fuse, then determine what you need to purchase. Sorry Nicholas Hardy, no upvote until all other avenues have been explored.

thanks for the detailed steps! Mine also stopped working last night when I tried to grind some hard food. Any tips on how to test the switches and thermal fuse? I have a multimeter, although I only know how to measure voltage and connectivity with it. thank you.

Had the same problem with my unit. Dissambled it and found two wires coming from each switch that were frayed, one was actually not frayed but bent that i could feel it was broke inside the insulation. Fixed them both by splicing and using some rubber shrink tubing. Also noted this unit uses some cheap plastic support for the rubber gommets used as shock absorbers. one broke and the motor shook more than it should of. Crazy glue helped set it back in place for now. not sure how long that will last. Overall the machine works like new. cost to fix less than a buck.

I tried the wall outlet with another appliance and it worked. Then I closely examined the main base and noticed that two of the white tabs on the rim were stuck and not moving down when pushed so I used a small screw driver and tapped lightly and the tabs moved. I plugged in and the base worked fine. This unit was almost new ... Only used a few times and very clean. Some liquid must have sealed the tabs.
