Starting Kindle Fire shows logo and static screen after.

When turning my kindle fire on, all it shows at first is the Kindle Fire logo. After about 10 seconds, it switches to a frozen/static like, black and white with a touch of scattered other colors screen that periodically shifts for about 20-30 seconds. After awhile of that it goes black before proceeds to loop the process all over again until I hold the power button to shut it down. Does anyone know what happened to it and if I can fix it myself?

My kindle fire HD 8.9" went to the static and then it went to the light shining across the kindle fire logo. After 1 minute it came back on. maybe try charging it a little. that seemed to work for me. I know your message is old and you probably already got a new one or something like that but if it ever happens again just read this.

So the tablet is having too much data on it and needs to be factory reset or hard restart it may do the trick I have had that problem before as well and I got it working again and also it could just be the battery or the imagery components!
