Brothers , just go to

1. "Device Manager"

2. "Storage controllers"

3 . Right click on "O2Micro Integrated MMC/SD controller" and disable this driver.

It's one of the card readers, just disabling it fixed the issue for me

Hi,

I had a similar issue myself and I tracked it down to my wireless drivers, and I have seen the same issue on several other laptops as well. My only solution was a workaround though, using the function keys to turn off the wifi when putting it to sleep, and turning it back on upon startup. But you are on the right track, it is most likely a driver issue as you have stated.

Does it give you an error when you attempt to roll back the power management driver?

Same issue here (caused by the Dell O2 card reader driver A04).

Edit: the A02 revision of the above driver causes the same issue.

This issue occurs in Windows 7, 8, and 10.

I fixed it by uninstalling the Dell O2 card reader driver Rev A04 and then installing the Lenovo equivalent driver from here:

http://support.lenovo.com/gb/en/download...

This covers Dell Models

E5530

E6430

E6530

And probably any other Dell laptops with the O2 card reader driver.

Try changing the Power Option setting for your HDD because there's a part there where HDD can turn off and that's causing this problem with your laptop. Please try and follow these steps

It will go into sleep mode without locking up the laptop.

Now I am able to bring it out of sleep mode too.
