What is wrong with my sound?

When I want to play music on my Itube app on my iPhone it will not play without earphones , if I take my earphones out at all the music will just cut off and the volume slider in the control centre disappears too. Anyone know how to fix it or even know what's wrong so I can go and get it fixed? Thank you in advance!
