I have a Late 2009 2.66GHz 27" iMac with a dead logic board. I have the opportunity to get a brand new 661-5319 Logic board for cheap, but aren't certain it will be compatible, my main concern being with the CPU and video card. I haven't worked on Macs before so I don't know if there is some firmware lock that would prevent this.

According to this vendor it will swap.
However I would want written assurance from your vendor the part will work in your machine so you are not responsible for restock/return fees if it doesn't.

Just realized 661-5319 appears to be an LGA775 board, my current one is LGA1150 so if that's definitely the case it's certainly not compatible.
