Can I replace any MacBook wifi card with any other years?

Will my macbook support a newer "ac" wi-fi card from a newer macbook?

While the Airport cards is removable and could be swapped out.

The benefits of the 802.11ac Airport card in this system will be minimal as you don't have the needed antennas to gain the full benefit of the swap-out. You would need to also swap out the lid assembly to gain the needed antennas.
