Buzzing noise after screen replacement.

I just replaced my battery on my iPhone 5 however when I put it all back together I now have a black screen and a buzzing noise. I put the old battery back in and have the same issue. What did I screw up when I took it apart?

A more detailed explanation is needed here. When can you hear the "buzzing" noise? Through the ear speaker when you put the iPhone to your ear to talk? Or is it a continuous sound that you hear coming out from the iPhone even when not placing a call?

Its the vibrating humming noise that typically happens when you plug your phone in. It "hums/vibrates" once every 5 seconds or so. I see others talk of a "bonging" noise it doesn't sound like bonging to me.
