The fourth Google Nexus smartphone, released November 13, 2012.

Is it possible to Repair the battery Ribbon socket?

Block Image

recently my S.O dropped and smashed her Nexus 4 for the second time. i have succesfully replaced 3 nexus 4 screens so far and so i am very familiar with the internals. however, this time as i removed the battery, i noticed that something fell out, upon further inspection i realised that two of the four golden pins in the battery socket (shown in the picture included) had fallen out and are nowhere to be found.

subsequently the phone now will not power on whatsoever.

My question is, can i buy these pins online, if so where. and if not is there anyone who could repair this for me?

All feedback is appreciated. :)

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hey there, your best bet is to try and find a broken motherboard that you can use as a donor board for components(eBay or other second hand servies are going to be your friend for this). I know that this question is a few years old, but hopefully this answer is helpful to the OP or whoever is experiencing a simmilar issue.

Best of luck!
