Screen and Startup problems after fall off bed

My MacBook pro recently and accidentally fell off my bed. when I opened it, the screen was black but the keys were illuminated. I tried to restart my MacBook pro But it didn't. I tried charging it and still got the same result. I don't know what the problem is, and I would appreciate feedback

To help isolate the problem, hook it up to an external monitor and see if it is generating a video signal.

Try holding down the power button for a good 15 sec's so the system knows you want to forcefully turn off (in case the system is still running). Then try restarting it do you hear the Bong?
