Power and home button not working due to battery replacement?

Today I changed my iPhone 5 battery without a problem at all, everything went really smoothly! I don't think I used too much force to pry the phone and overall it didn't take me long. Upon trying to power the phone, it wouldn't work. I plugged the charger and it began to charge since the battery was dead. But the power and home button are not responding. I tried to see if anything looked out of place and everything seems fine. Even the volume buttons work perfectly. I'm concerned and before I consider taking it to a repair shop, I'd like to know my options if anybody could help. Another question could be the price range of the repair too.

Answer this question I have this problem too
