HDMI not working after switching cable multiple times

Mac mini Mid 2010

Model A1347 with 2.4 or 2.66 GHz Core 2 Duo Processor.

My HDMI port seems to have stopped working after i borrowed a BD player and had disconnected the cable to switch in between the two.

I have tried resetting the PRAM and SMC without luck

Maybe the HDMI female end of the I/O Bezel has broken?

Options

When you go into System Preferences what does the display information tell you? It maybe set incorrectly.
