there is seems to have something wrong with friend's iphone 5s, Comes and goes, getting really hot. does anyone konw the problem?

BTW If he bought that as an iPhone 6 you may go back and complain that's a iPhone 5s lol

As for the screen did it just happen or was it dropped..

My guess is it's a damaged screen a new one will fix it.
