high cpu on battery puts computer to sleep
Conditions I am working under:
- I replaced the hard drive for a SSD, and only loaded windows 8.1 onto the drive (it still has the mac bios)
- I then replaced the battery, reset the smc, and pram, and calibrated the battery
The problem is that every time my cpu spikes (say if I go to render something or even make slightly heavier use of my computer, (of course this is all on battery power), it goes to sleep, and it continues doing that after I wake it up periodically.
What can I do to stop this?
Is this a good question?

You really can't run Windows natively on the Mac's as the system is still dependent on the Mac OS services. As you have discovered you can't access the hardware settings directly within Windows. You'll need to install the correct OS-X for the system and BootCamp services then within BootCamp install Windows so you can run it concurrently.
