After water spill MacBook wont turn on

Hi guys, three weeks ago i spilled water on my macbook air, i didn't turned it off immediately but left it running until it shut down on its own. I dried it for 5 days, and after that there is no life from it. When i plug in the adapter the red light is on and when i press the power button the light turns green for a couple of seconds and then back to red. Now after three weeks i tried turning it on again and it booted up. But after i shut it down it went back to that state. Any idea what I could do to fix it?

Thanks a lot!

Cleaning it of corrosion is first oder of business. While you're doing that you need to look for burned or swollen components on the logic board.

Sometimes a cleaning and refrying is all that's needed. More often components on the logic board must be replaced (not a DIY project for most people) or replacing the entire logic board (an advanced DIY project) is required.

For any of the steps acquiring the recommended tools (every job is easier when you use the proper tools) and studying (not just looking over) the correct guide and notes are where you begin.
