swap logic board

Hey everybody, I have MacBook Pro late 2008 W88481J11GA

and I was also wondering if I could upgrade it with a 2.8 GHz logic board. LOGIC BOARD 661-4836 AS-IS

Firstly - would it make it run faster? Secondly - are the graphics better on that logic board? And where can I aquire it?

Thanks

Edward, the difference in processing speed will be at most in milliseconds and most likely not be noted by you. Same with the graphics.

Yes - all the '08 logic boards start out from the base model and are then customized or upgraded with faster processors and graphics. So if you can locate a good board you could go 2.8 or even 2.93.
