Why won't my Xbox give sound through my tv?
About a month or so ago my Xbox stop giving sound output through my tv, I tried using different HDMI cables but that didn't work I am all out of ideas

The first thing I would check is your HDMI port. You might have bent pins or a loose port. You can also check to see if these is a red light coming out of the optical sound port. This will tell you if the console is trying to output sound. If the red light isn't there that will tell you that the console isn't even trying to put out sound.
If you find a loose HDMI port I can fix those.

Tried another cable, or tried that cable in a dvd/blu ray player?
