Why is the saw blade bouncing when I am making a cut?

When making a cut the saw blade seems to bounce up and down. It will not make a clean cut through the material. I have tried using different speeds but it is still bouncing

Wrong blade for material - too big, too large, too dull.

What material are you cutting. How thick is the material, what type of blade are you using, how many teeth per inch. The answer to all those questions contains the solution to your problem.
