Replacing the left fan

I've tried to open the case in order to replace the left fan, however I can't remove the keyboard as something is "locking" it, in the latch area. Some screw you didn't talked about ?..

Make sure you did not miss the 2 screws inside of the battery door (Step 4).

In addition there are 4 plastic alignment tabs to the right of the latch (directly above the optical drive bezel), and 1 plastic (just to the left of the IR sensor) 2 metal ones to the left (.75" and 2.5" in from the left corner of the case) that might be getting hung up, I've had issues with the one next to the IR sensor. You might want to run a spudger or iPod opening tool carefully across the front of the case to make sure all these tabs un-clip smoothly.

I've just disassembled an A1150 using that same guide, and it went smoothly.

Hehe, no, I did not miss the 2 tiny screws :) I actually double checked for that, because the locking is in this area.

Actually, it's exactly what you describe : right next to the IR sensor. I don't want to unlock it with brute force, though...
