Airport card not installed

Hi,

I have two issues with my MacBook Pro, first , it says airport card not installed, but the bluetooth works great. Sometimes it's working randomly, but mostly not. I did smc reset, nvram reset, clean install os x, and nothing changed..

Second problem is, when i restart, or shut down, and press power button, the sleep led going light, and the hdd, odd, fan make noise, but the screen is stays black, and i don't hear the chime. I must turn on and off eg. 4-5 times, when it turns on perfectly.

Thanks!

Answer this question I have this problem too

Help us help you. The more complete the description of your problem is (some history of the problem - how long has this been going on, was the machine dropped, crushed or wet, what OS you're using -there's a lot of those and Mavericks has some known sleep/wake wireless issues) the more assistance we can provide, and, the sooner we can provide it..

FWIW the crashing, force rebooting must be solved ASAP. Continuing as you are will eventually lead to HD corruption to the point your machine will not boot.

I used it with Snow Leopard, yesterday i installed a clean Mavericks, but the problem started at Snow Leopard, and the clean install didn't solved it. The macbook has never been dropped, or spilled with any fluid, and never been disassembled. I know if i continue the turn on - off thing, it may cause damage.
