Home button replaced? Not as original touch feeling

Hi,

I bought a used iphone 5S but I have a strong feeling that the home button has been replaced.

The feeling when I touch it, is not the same as an original. Looks like it's deeper and not on same level.

Can I ask why? Should I returned it?

Thank you

If it's been replaced then the Touch ID won't work..

If Touch ID works then it's the home button that was always on the phone..

Could be the two screws that hold the bracket in place behind have came loose
