track pad letft button suks

suggest for fix, my track pad is little down on left side, so i cant click well the button...

remove battery? after?

Sounds like the screws holding the trackpad have loosened up. Only problem here is you'll end up replacing the battery as you'll kill it trying to remove it to get to the trackpad ;-{

We've sent two of the Retina systems back to Apple because of the trackpad failing. Luckly, they were under warranty.

I would strongly recommend letting Apple deal with this repair.

thanks dan, really sad to hear that, hold battery with glue is a choice....

for now i'm lucky because this morning the track pad is back to work properly again, maybe something inside blown out.

but in the future? i'll kill if try to remove battery?

So far I see no good way to remove it given the glue. Some people have tried using a heat gun to loosen the glue. The problem here is the plastic of the battery gets soft as well.
