Bluetooth not working after disassembly

MacBook Pro 15" Mid 2009 (glossy display)

After replacing the hinges of my MBP, my bluetooth stopped working, it says "bluetooth unavailable" while wifi does work perfectly.

i've tried to reset the NVRAM,PRAM but no result.

I have Windows 7 running on bootcamp and bluetooth is inexistent there too.

Any ideas to fix this issue please?

The glossy display version has the BlueTooth board located in the black plastic clutch cover which is part of the display unit. You will need to remove the display assembly to then access the board.

Here's the display cover teardown: MacBook Pro 15" Unibody Mid 2009 Display Replacement. Then jump to this guide: MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Mid 2009 AirPort Antenna Replacement from Step 15 onward will walk you though the AirPort board removal.

For some reason the correct guide is missing for the 15" Glossy Airport board and antenna.

I'm sure you'll find something has gotten in and corroded the contacts. You may end up replacing the Airport board or the cable.
