3rd time changing power/sensor cable and still not working

Hello Community

This is my first post.

I've repaired tons of iPhones by now but this one is puzzling me.

My wife's iPhone 4 stopped turning of the screen when she was on the phone, which resulted in her ear is pressing all the buttons on the screen.

Now I have replaced the sensor/power cables for the 3rd time and it is still not working... anyone have any idea why? I doubt that I have bought 3 defective sensor cables.

Best Regards

Nickolaj
