Both cameras have stopped working and overheating

Hello

I have just completed a screen repair on an iphone 5, but since then both of the cameras have stopped working. The both display black when you open them.

The phone has also started to overheat and battery draining quickly.

I have tried another screen, checked the rear camera connector is seated correctly, changed the front camera flex, but to no avail

I have looked at all the chips around the screen connector thinking that I may have knock one, but they all appear in order.

I also use an anti static mat and wrist strap when repairing

Anyone who has experienced a similar issue it would be great to hear from you to see how you solved the issue
