my fan keeps working all the time on a really high level plus there is a kernel task failure which causes my mbp to work really slow. aht figured out a 4sns 1 4000000 icor 10996 troubleshooter. what is it exactly? there also is a problem with detecting my battery from time to time. doesnt load and recognize the battery regulary.

If you've dropped or stacked something on the laptop the battery could be cracked. I had a MBA battery that would act very strange... Not showing up, then working fine. Not charging, then charging fine. I could not see the crack in the battery until I lifted it out of the case.
Apparently as I held the computer from one edge or end, or moved the computer the crack would open/close causing, then solving the battery problems above.
I believe the sensor is reporting a problem with the power (current) to the Optical drive. This could be related to the battery problem.
