Is my fan speed normal?

Guys.

I am using Windows 7 ultimate on my mac using vmware latest version for the new 64bits macs.

My Machine fans usaully stay at 3000 - 5500 is that okay? or I should close vmware?

Also what is the best app for fan controlling

2.26GHZ

Your fan speed sounds normal, when you're not using VMware however, there is no need to keep it open it eats up memory and CPU better than anything.

As for fan control apps, there are plenty of good ones, CoolBook is one of them.
