How Do I Remove my Broken Screen?

I cracked my tablet screen and I have a replacement. but I cant seem to figure out how to remove the cracked screen. To clarify only cracked the glass (I think its called the digitalizer) not the LCD. Any tips?

You have the back of the tablet off, unplug everything carefully then heat the frame up (careful to not melt it) and use a safe opening tool to peel the frame off the digi.

Hope this helps!

Be careful replacing the digitizer on the Asus T100

They do have replacements on auction sites for around $30-80 depending if its being sent from overseas.

I have had terrible luck with them though -- I think they are all faulty.

Out of the 4 I've received (two shipments a couple months apart) 1 arrived cracked, and the three others all start to show "phantom touches" like crazy not very long after install, which totally makes them useless.

btw -- it costs $130 to return them to china with tracking for a $140 refund... lol... they know what they are doing...
